Brian Moser

Principal Wildlife Biologist at SWCA

Brian Moser, Ph.D. has a background in wildlife biology and extensive experience in the field. Brian currently holds the position of Principal Wildlife Biologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at WEST, Inc. as a Wildlife Biologist/Project Manager from October 2017 to June 2022. From 2008 to 2017, they served as the Principal Wildlife Biologist at the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Institute. Brian's career began in 1997 as a Wildlife Biologist at PotlatchDeltic Corporation, where they worked until 2008.

Brian Moser, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management from Washington State University, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Brian then pursued their Master of Science degree in Wildlife Biology at the same institution from 1995 to 1997. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the University of Idaho, where they earned their Ph.D. in Wildlife Biology from 2004 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Brian Moser has also obtained a certification as a Certified Wildlife Biologist from The Wildlife Society in January 2002.
