Erica Brown Gaddis

Erica Brown Gaddis, PhD, is a seasoned professional in water resources and environmental management, currently serving as the Senior Water Resources Director at SWCA Environmental Consultants since December 2022. Gaddis has extensive experience in policy and program development, having held key positions including Board Member at The Leakey Foundation and Senior Policy Advisor at the Western States Water Council. In previous roles with the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, Gaddis managed divisions focused on water quality and led strategic initiatives to address environmental challenges amidst growing pollution and climate stressors. Gaddis has contributed significantly to the United Nations Environment Programme as a Coordinating Lead Author for multiple Global Environmental Outlook reports and has an academic background that includes a PhD in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont.
