Jeff Reid possesses extensive experience in archaeology and environmental science, having held various positions across multiple organizations since 2001. Reid began a career in archaeology as an Archaeological Technician with the US Forest Service, later advancing to Staff Archaeologist with AECOM, where coordination of field surveys and compliance efforts in California and surrounding states was a primary role. Additional archaeological roles with organizations like Far Western Anthropological Research Group and Cardno ENTRIX involved surveying and excavation projects. A transition into fisheries involved leadership as a Fisheries Technician II with the Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission. Recently, Reid has blended education and science as a Science Teacher at Oroville High School and serves in dual roles at SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Senior Archaeologist and at Chico Unified School District. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and continuing studies toward a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration.
