Lori Stone

Project Biologist at SWCA

Lori Stone has a diverse work experience in the field of environmental consulting and research. Lori began their career at Michigan State University as a Field Technician from June 2004 to August 2006. Later, they worked as a Research Technician at The Ohio State University for three months in 2007. In 2009, Lori joined the Smithsonian Institution/University of Maryland as a Research Technician for two months.

In 2010, they started working at Cardno as a Staff Scientist, where they served in that role until February 2015. Lori then became a Senior Staff Scientist until December 2019. From January 2020 to April 2022, they worked as a Project Scientist at Cardno.

Recently, in April 2022, Lori joined SWCA Environmental Consultants as a Project Biologist.

Lori Stone obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Biology/Zoology from Michigan State University between 1999 and 2003. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including MSHA - 24 hour (part 46) from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA in March 2023, ICS 100, ICS 200, and ICS 700 from FEMA in February 2015, HUET/Sea Survival Training from SMS Training Academy in June 2014, 40 Hour Hazwoper from The National Environmental Trainers in June 2004, and CPR/First Aid/AED from the American Red Cross in June 2004.
