Mia Jones

Assistant Project Biologist at SWCA

Mia Jones has extensive work experience in various roles. Mia currently works at SWCA Environmental Consultants as an Assistant Project Biologist and previously worked as a Natural Resources Technician in the same company. Prior to this, they were an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the Marine Biology Lab at Occidental College and also served as a Student Staff for Games Management. Mia has also worked as a California Climate Action Corps Summer Fellow at AmeriCorps and as a Cashier at Costco Wholesale. Mia gained internship experience at PROS Foundation - Pathways for Rare and Orphan Studies.

Mia Jones obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Occidental College, which they attended from 2017 to 2021. In December 2021, they earned a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Practice Certificate from UC San Diego Extension. Additionally, in October 2021, Mia obtained a Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid certification from NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
