Patrick Ahern, MBA, SPHR, CPTD has extensive experience in talent acquisition, talent development, and human resources. Patrick is currently the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Development at SWCA Environmental Consultants. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Human Resources and Talent Development at Suntec Concrete from October 2018 to February 2020. Patrick also worked at Swift Transportation for over 15 years, holding various leadership positions including Vice President of Learning and Development, Senior Director of Talent Acquisition and Development, Recruiting Manager, and Management Trainee. During their tenure at Swift, they directed all corporate learning and development activities, set organizational learning strategy, built a corporate learning and development team, and led the corporate talent acquisition team. Overall, Patrick is a highly experienced professional in the field of talent acquisition and development.

Patrick Ahern has an extensive education history. Patrick obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management in the Eller Executive MBA Program. This program was completed from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Weber State University from 1999 to 2001. Patrick pursued a double major in Public Relations and Spanish during their undergraduate studies.
