Rachel Carlson is an Assistant Staff Environmental Planner at SWCA Environmental Consultants since July 2022. Previously, Rachel held positions as a Graduate Assistant for the Policy Specialization in the CU Boulder Masters of the Environment Graduate Program from September 2019 to May 2021, and as a Graduate Student Consultant for the Boulder County Forest Collaborative from February to December 2020. Experience also includes serving as a Legislative Aide for then-Representative Faith Winter in the Colorado House of Representatives from April 2017 to May 2018 and a Community Management Intern at Nomad Pass in late 2016. Rachel earned a Master's degree in Environmental & Natural Resources Policy from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in History & International Relations from The University of Alabama.
