Stephanie Hudgins

Stephanie Hudgins is the Vice President at SWCA. Stephanie has over 18 years of experience in environmental consulting and serves as the Southeastern Business Unit Leader at Cardno. Hudgins leads Cardno’s Oil and Gas client sector in the Natural Resources and Health Sciences Division and participates in several other client sectors across the country. Stephanie supports business development for a variety of Cardno’s service lines including environmental permitting, environmental impacts assessments, groundwater and surface water management, water supply, cultural resources, environmental restoration and natural resource management.

Stephanie actively participates in business development strategies and provides input to the executive management team. Stephanie builds relationships with key clients, industry organizations, teaming partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities and grow the business for Cardno.

Hudgins is skilled at managing budgets and staff resources for large and small-scale projects for several service lines across the firm. Stephanie has experience working in the natural gas transmission, renewable energy (biofuels), water resources, mitigation/conservation banking, and private development industries. Stephanie prepares high level budgets, feasibility assessments, and constraints analysis for these industry projects.

Stephanie specializes in business development, project and program management, environmental due diligence, environmental permitting, wetland delineations, listed species assessments, and ecological site assessments across the United States. Stephanie manages Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) regulated projects that involve environmental report preparation, Section 7 protected species consultation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 permitting, state and local permitting, and biological field surveys.

Stephanie Hudgins' educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Horticultural Science from Virginia Tech.
