Stephanie Tompkins

Stephanie Tompkins has a diverse work experience, starting in 2005 as a Sales Associate at Wal Mart Stores. Stephanie then worked as a Freelance Writer at Anchor Lines LLC from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, they also began working as a Freelance Writer for herself, ghostwriting e-books. Stephanie continued this role until 2022.

Stephanie then pursued a Masters degree at Kent State University from 2021 to 2022. After completing their degree, they worked as a GIS Analyst at the City of Florence, Oregon from 2022 to 2023, where they were responsible for maintaining and verifying utility databases, creating maps for different audiences, and managing plans and as-builds.

Currently, Stephanie is working as an Assistant Staff Geospatial Scientist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, starting in 2023.

Stephanie Tompkins pursued their education in a chronological manner. Stephanie completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Organismal Biology from Kent State University between the years 2007 and 2012. Following this, they enrolled at Kent State University once again in 2021 to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography, which they completed in 2022.
