Suanna Selby Crowley, PhD, RPA, is an accomplished leader in the field of anthropology and archaeology with extensive experience in both applied and professional contexts. Currently serving as President of the National Association for the Practice of Anthropology and Lead Archaeologist at SWCA Environmental Consultants, Crowley advocates for the discipline while managing projects and compliance within cultural resources. As Founder of HeadFort Consulting, Crowley utilizes applied anthropology to enhance research and strategic communications. With a history of leadership roles such as Past President of the Massachusetts Archaeological Society and Commissioner for the Massachusetts Historical Commission, Crowley has impacted preservation programs and community engagement initiatives.
