Kaarle J. Parikka

Kaarle J. Parikka is currently working as a Microbiology Laboratory Manager at Société wallonne des eaux (SWDE) since April 2023. Kaarle previously worked as a Scientist (project manager) at e-biom, focusing on the development of viral tracking in wastewater. With a background in Microbiology, Kaarle also has experience as a Scientific expert & COVID-19 laboratory coordinator at Institut de Pathologie et de Génétique. Kaarle's research interests include phage applications for human health and cancer therapy. Kaarle holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Université de Bretagne Occidentale and has additional education in biochemistry, molecular biology, and social sciences.
