Pia Wennerth

Pia Wennerth's work experience includes serving as the Vice President of SWEA International since 2016. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing a global network of Swedish speaking women in more than 70 chapters across 30 countries. SWEA is the largest organization outside of Sweden that promotes Swedish language, culture, and tradition.

Prior to their role at SWEA International, Pia worked as an ombud for Svenskar i Världen / Swedes Worldwide in Oregon starting in 2000.

Furthermore, Pia had a long-term position as the Executive Director of the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce Chicago from 1995 to 2010.

Pia Wennerth studied Math and Physics at Lund University and earned a degree called Fil.Mag. Pia also pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree at Lund University in Sweden. However, specific start and end years for both degrees are not provided.
