Frits Stas

Frits Stas is a seasoned civil engineering professional with extensive experience in asset management and road construction. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Sweco Nederland since May 2017, Frits manages projects across various regions including North and South Holland, Utrecht, Gelderland, and Flevoland, with notable involvement in the APM Tanger Med 2 container terminal project in Morocco. Prior to this role, Frits led a consultancy team at KOAC•NPC, overseeing quality care in road construction and managing diverse projects for municipalities and provinces. Frits has also held advisory and managerial positions with notable firms including Grontmij Group, VBW-Asfalt, and Infratech B.V., contributing to significant infrastructure projects and regulatory initiatives. Frits holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology, completed in 1990.
