Markus Hartikainen

Markus Hartikainen is an experienced professional in automation and systems technology with a strong background in project management and engineering. Currently serving as Projektipäällikkö and Team Manager at Sweco since November 2019, Markus has held various roles including I&C Project Engineer. Prior experience includes positions as I&C System Manager and Design Engineer at Fortum, focusing on ageing and maintenance management as well as power plant I&C design. At ABB, Markus worked as a Design Engineer in fieldbus R&D engineering. Earlier roles featured contributions to the Loviisa Nuclear Power Plant Automation Renewal Project while working as a Master's Thesis worker and later as a Design Engineer at Fortum, and R&D test engineering during a trainee period at Metso Automation. Markus holds a Master of Science degree in Automation and Systems Technology from Aalto University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Automation Technology from Tampere University of Technology.
