Tarmo Puolokainen

Tarmo Puolokainen has a solid background in analysis and planning, with experience in various leadership roles. Tarmo is currently the Head of the Analysis and Planning Department at Swedbank Estonia. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Strategic Development at the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency. Tarmo also held the position of Head of Analysis at Enterprise Estonia from 2018 to 2022. Before transitioning into leadership roles, they worked at the University of Tartu as a Methodologist and later as a Project Manager-Analyst.

Tarmo Puolokainen pursued their education in Economics at the University of Tartu. Tarmo earned their Master's degree from the institution, completing their studies between 2010 and 2013. Building upon this foundation, Tarmo further dedicated himself to academic pursuits and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the same university in Economics. This significant achievement spanned from 2013 to 2018, thus solidifying Tarmo's expertise in the field.
