Mikael Björknert

Mikael Björknert is currently the Head of Swedish Banking at Swedbank Norge AS. Mikael has previously held the position of Head of Group Strategy and Chief Strategic Officer at Swedbank, as well as Head of SAMA (Strategic Analysis and M&A) and Head of Channels & Concepts. Mikael has also been a Member of the Board of Directors at UC AB. Mikael has been with Swedbank for over 10 years and has been instrumental in shaping the bank's strategy and direction.

Mikael Björknert is a graduate of Upsala Universitet, where they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree.

They are on a team with Carina Strand - Head, Group HR & Infrastructure, Tomas Hedberg - Deputy President & Deputy CEO, and Ingrid Harbo - Chief Compliance Officer. Mikael Björknert reports to Jens Henriksson, President & CEO.
