Girts Berzins

Girts Berzins is an experienced professional in the banking and technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of Digital Innovation and Strategy for Digital Banking at Swedbank, as well as a member of the Group Executive Committee. Previous roles include Head of Strategy for Digital Banking and a board member at Swedbank Latvija and Iespējamā misija. Girts Berzins also held the positions of Chief Technology Officer and a board member at Lattelecom, along with serving as CIO and Head of Administration in Russia for Swedbank. Girts Berzins holds a Master of Economics degree from Latvijas Universitate, obtained between 1991 and 1998.
