Mikael Björknert

Mikael Björknert is the current Chief Strategy Officer & Acting Head, Swedish Banking at Swedbank. Mikael has also served on the Board of Directors for UC AB, Swedbank, and Nasdaq. From 2007 to 2010, they were the Head of Global Transaction Services at SEB where they were responsible for the business area Global Transaction Services (Cash Management, Trade Finance, Short term financing, Securities Services, Fund Services). Mikael was also a member of SEB Merchant Banking Management Group. Mikael has over 20 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry.

Mikael Björknert attended Upsala Universitet, where they received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.).

Mikael Björknert reports to Jens Henriksson, President & CEO. They work with Carina Strand - Head, Group HR & Infrastructure, Kerstin Winlöf - Head, Group Financial Products & Advice, and Lotta Lovén - CIO & Head, Group Channels & Technologies.
