Carina Hellgren

Carina Hellgren currently serves as Head of Unit at the Department for Policy Analyses within the Swedish Council for Higher Education since January 2020, while also holding the position of Deputy Head of Department at the same organization since March 2013. Previously, Carina worked as a Research Financing Strategist at Mälardalens University from September 2012 to February 2013 and led the Department for Global Collaboration at the International Program Office for Education and Training from January 2008 to September 2012. Carina's earlier career includes a researcher role at the National Institute for Working Life from 1993 to 2007 and a doctoral candidate (doktorand) at Karolinska Institutet from 1995 to 1999. Carina holds a PhD in Psychology from Karolinska Institutet and a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Uppsala University.
