Natasha Irani is an Outpatient Occupational Therapist and Principal Investigator at Swedish Hospital since May 2022, specializing in Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation. Irani leads a clinical trial focused on patients' experiences with customizable 3D-printed finger splints that prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion. Previously, as a Doctoral Student Researcher at Rush University Medical Center, Irani developed a functional 3D-printed anti-swan neck orthotic prototype and conducted a comparison study on user satisfaction with customizable 3D-printed orthoses. Irani's work includes collaboration with Northwestern Medicine Center for Surgery of the Hand and presentations at international conferences. Additional experience includes fieldwork in outpatient hand therapy at UChicago Medicine and a role in investment banking campus recruiting at Goldman Sachs. Educational qualifications include an occupational therapy doctorate from Rush University and a certificate in Additive Manufacturing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
