Lejla Istenic

Lejla Istenic has held various roles throughout their career. Lejla started as an Interpreter at OSCE in 2000 before becoming a Sales Agent at Ittierre Moden GmbH in 2006. In 2007, they joined DEPFA PLC as a Credit Analyst, where they were responsible for research, analysis, and rating of Financial Institutions. Lejla then worked as an Account Manager at Plan B Digital from 2009 to 2011. Lejla moved on to Statoil Fuel & Retail AS as a Business Controller from 2012 to 2013. Lejla then worked as a Global Deal Controller at Wincor Nixdorf from 2013 to 2017. Currently, they are the Head of IT Finance & Project Management Office at Swedish Match, a position they have held since April 2022. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in various areas such as finance, project management, business controlling, and sales.

Lejla Istenic attended Leibniz Gymnasium from 1993 to 1998. Lejla later pursued an MBA in Finance at Stockholm University from 2002 to 2007.
