Erik Klingenberg

Erik Klingenberg is an experienced leader in social services and migration management with a demonstrated history of roles including Enhetschef at Migrationsverket and Göteborgs Stad. Currently serving as Enhetschef for Förvarsenhet 3 at Migrationsverket since January 2023, Erik previously held various leadership positions within Göteborgs Stad, overseeing short-term care and support units, including at Bagaregården and Hundraåret, as well as managing specialized services for older adults. Erik’s extensive experience also includes project leadership roles and mentoring responsibilities at Migrationsverket, where contributions were made to operational management, team development, and quality enhancement in asylum processing. Erik holds a Filosofie Magister (Fil.Mag) degree in Political Science with an international focus from the University of Gothenburg.
