Merjem Maslo currently serves as Vice Mayor of the Executive Committee for Mölndals stad since November 2022, alongside a role as Senior Advisor within the Quality's Office at the Swedish Migration Agency since December 2016. Maslo has been a Member of the Municipal Council for Moderaterna since November 2010 and previously held various influential positions in migration and strategic planning, including Senior Advisor at the Director General’s Office and development expert focused on migration intelligence. With a foundational background that includes migration trend analysis and a position at the Department of Justice during the Swedish EU presidency, Maslo's expertise is enhanced by a Master's degree in Political Science and French from the University of Gothenburg.
