Meret Martin-Facklam

Meret Martin-Facklam has an extensive work experience in the field of clinical pharmacology and research. Meret is currently serving as the Senior Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB. Prior to that, they held the same position at Affivant. Previously, they worked at Roche for a significant period of time in various roles, including Senior Clinical Pharmacologist/Expert Scientist, Clinical Pharmacologist, and Clinical Pharmacology Science Specialist. Before joining Roche, they worked as a Senior Research Associate at Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacoepidemiology, University Hospital of Heidelberg. Meret also worked as a Research Associate at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at University Hospital Basel and as a Labelling Manager at Novartis. Meret Martin-Facklam obtained their PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Basel in 1991. In 2002, they received the German Board Certification as a pharmacist for drug information from the German Society of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology. In 2002, they also obtained the Clinical Pharmacologist SKP certification from the Schweizerische Gesellschaft für Klinische Pharmakologie und Toxikologie. Additionally, they completed the European Course and Certificate in Pharmaceutical Medicine at the Universität Basel, although the specific year of completion is not provided.
