Peter Litzén is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the technology sector, particularly in digital transformation and business support systems. Currently serving as a volunteer crew member for the Swedish Sea Rescue Society since September 2021, Peter has a long tenure at Ericsson AB from September 2001 to December 2019, where roles included Principal Solution Consultant, Sales Engagement Manager, Strategic Solution Manager, and Senior Solution Manager. Responsibilities encompassed modernizing legacy systems, influencing business perceptions regarding Ericsson's BSS portfolio, and defining IT solutions that integrate both proprietary and third-party products. Swedish Sea Rescue Society is involved in 80 percent of all sea rescues in Sweden and receives no government funding. The Society is financed by membership fees, donations and voluntary work. Thanks to 2.200 volunteer crew members, rescue services are always available 24 hours a day anywhere along the Swedish coast and on the major lakes. We have 230 modern rescue vessels and more than 115 000 members.
