Viktor Modin currently serves as the Fleet Safety Superintendent at Stena Line, a position held since November 2022. In addition, Viktor is engaged as a Sea Rescue Volunteer with Sjöräddningssällskapet since September 2020. Previously, Viktor held roles including Chief Officer at TT-Line and Captain at Northern Offshore Services. Viktor's extensive maritime experience includes various positions at Star Cruises from November 2012 to May 2022, culminating in the role of Staff Captain. Viktor began their career with Erik Thun AB as a 2nd Officer from 2010 until November 2012. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science from Linnaeus University, completed in 2011.

Swedish Sea Rescue Society
Swedish Sea Rescue Society is involved in 80 percent of all sea rescues in Sweden and receives no government funding. The Society is financed by membership fees, donations and voluntary work. Thanks to 2.200 volunteer crew members, rescue services are always available 24 hours a day anywhere along the Swedish coast and on the major lakes. We have 230 modern rescue vessels and more than 115 000 members.
