Ohad Avital

Ohad Avital has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Ohad is currently serving as the VP R&D and deputy CPTO at Sweetch, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Member of 8400 at 8400 - The Health Network from 2021.

In 2020, Ohad joined ARC Innovation at Sheba where they held dual roles. Ohad served as the Head and Chief Product of Nexus Group from June 2021 to March 2023 and as the Head of Startup Creation Program from July 2020 to June 2021.

Prior to their roles at ARC Innovation, Ohad worked in Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 for several years. From August 2017 to July 2020, they served as the Head of Cyber Research and Development Branch (Lt. Col). Before this, they held multiple positions including Head of Strategic Planning Branch (August 2016 - April 2017), Partnerships Manager (July 2014 - July 2016), Senior Strategic Planning Officer (August 2012 - July 2014), Senior Project Manager (March 2011 - August 2012), Head of Cyber Research And Development Group (March 2008 - March 2011), and Project Manager, Team Lead, Programmer (April 2003 - March 2008).

Ohad Avital obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Later, from 2005 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at Reichman University.
