Nick Ambrogi

Nick Ambrogi is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in product design and manufacturing. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Lead in Manufacturing at sweetgreen since September 2021, Nick previously held positions at Spyce, where contributions included leading the design of an NSF-listed automated cooking appliance. Prior roles at Desktop Metal involved bringing a metal 3D printer from prototype to production, while previous work at Grove focused on the development of a web-connected indoor garden. Early career experiences at Apple included internships that contributed to the design of iPhone products and accessories. Nick commenced a career in mechanical engineering with internships at DEKA Research & Development, working on innovative medical devices, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
