Erik Johansson

Thermal Analysis Engineer at SWEP International

Erik Johansson is an experienced Thermal Analysis Engineer at SWEP since May 2016, specializing in thermal and hydraulic verification and enhancements for brazed plate heat exchangers. Previous experience includes serving as a Ph.D. candidate at Lund University from May 2011 to December 2015, focusing on numerical modeling of proton exchange membrane fuel cells and microscale heat transfer. Erik also held the position of Project Assistant at Umeå University from October 2010 to April 2011, where work involved simulations for a secondary heating system at a pulp and paper mill in collaboration with ProcessIT Innovations and Eurocon. Additionally, a Masters Thesis was completed at Simon Fraser University from September 2009 to March 2010, concentrating on numerical and experimental studies of microfluidic fuel cells using COMSOL Multiphysics. Erik earned a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering from Umeå University from 2005 to 2010.
