Jim Marett

Jim Marett has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Jim currently holds the position of Vice President, Business Development at Swift Current Energy since May 2017. Prior to that, they were a Principal at Swift Diamond Advisory, LLC starting from February 2017. From September 2012 to January 2017, Jim worked as the Director of Corporate Development at Ogin, Inc. Jim also has experience at Next Step Living, Inc where they held multiple roles including Business Line General Manager and Director of Operations and Business Intelligence. Jim started their career as an intern at XL Hybrids and later worked as an intern and Lean Six Sigma Consultant at groSolar. Prior to that, they worked as a Management Consultant at Fidelity Consulting Group and as a Senior Analyst at Chatham Partners.

Jim Marett attended Weston High School from 1994 to 1998, where they completed their high school education. Jim then enrolled at Harvard University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. In 2008, Jim pursued further education by attending The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where they obtained an MBA with a specialization in General Management. Continuing their educational pursuits, in 2009, Jim took coursework in Energy Law & Policy at Vermont Law and Graduate School. In 2010, they attended the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth and earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
