Karen Lathrop

Karen Lathrop is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project management and organizational development. Currently serving as Development Director at Swift Current Energy since May 2017, Karen has held multiple roles within the company, including Project Manager and Development Manager. Prior to this, Karen co-owned BlackSoil Solutions, Inc. from August 2014 to August 2019, and worked as a Sales Specialist at The Stone River Group in 2011-2012. Additional experience includes a role as Business Manager at Phenom Features and a focus on Human Resources communications at Caterpillar Inc. Karen's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Illinois Springfield and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Lincoln College.
