Nicolette Blades has a diverse work experience in various legal roles. Nicolette started their career in 2005 as a Trainee Solicitor at Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP, where they gained experience in commercial real estate finance and property transactions. Nicolette then worked as an Assistant to the General Counsel at Global Enterprise Technologies Corp., where they reviewed and negotiated agreements and provided risk management advice. Later, they were an Associate at Stratevise LLC, where they assisted with marketing strategies and development solutions. Nicolette also worked as a Contract Attorney at Enel Green Power North America, where they drafted and negotiated project documents for wind farms. Nicolette then joined InterGen as a Corporate Counsel, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and project finance documentation. Most recently, they have held legal leadership roles at Enel Green Power and Swift Current Energy, including Senior Vice President and Vice President, overseeing legal operations.

Nicolette Blades has an extensive education history in the field of law. Nicolette obtained their LLB degree in Law from the University of Leicester between 1998 and 2001. Nicolette further pursued their education at Durham University, where they completed an LLM (Master of Laws) in European and International Legal Studies from 2002 to 2003. In 2004 to 2005, Nicolette obtained a Diploma in Legal Practice from The University of Law.

Nicolette continued their legal education by attending Boston University School of Law in 2010 to 2011, where they obtained their LLM degree in American Law. Additionally, Nicolette completed the High Potentials Leadership Program at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2021.

Nicolette has also achieved important certifications in their field. In 2007, they were admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales by the Supreme Court of England and Wales. Nicolette later obtained admission to the Massachusetts State Bar in November 2011.

To complete their educational background, Nicolette achieved their International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International School Hilversum from 1992 to 1998.
