Pascale Elharrar

Pascale Elharrar is a highly experienced legal professional with a career at BMO spanning over two decades, currently serving as Chief Legal Officer for BMO Global Asset Management and Canadian Private Wealth and Insurance. Pascale oversees significant litigation, regulatory enforcement, and internal investigations globally, while also leading BMO's Wealth Management litigation team. Notable achievements include receiving the 2017 Canadian General Counsel Award for Litigation Management and founding the Litigation Practice Management Group, which garnered two 2015 Innovatio Awards for its innovative litigation risk management practices. Additionally, Pascale has contributed to the Toronto Stock Exchange's Disciplinary Committee and was involved in the IIROC Task Force aimed at modernizing securities legislation in Canada. Pascale began legal career at Bélanger Sauvé LLP, specializing in civil and commercial litigation, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Concordia University. Further education includes ongoing management studies at the University of Toronto and McGill University.
