Shai Lurie

Shai Lurie is a principal engineer and architect with extensive experience in security, cloud and software development management. Shai has architected, designed and led development groups implementing many breakthrough products, including Check Point’s flagship security product for threat emulation, Vigilant Technology’s video surveillance and analytics solutions, and most recently, Swift Sensor’s IOT cloud-based sensor monitoring system.

A tenacious researcher, optimizer and problem-solver, Shai brings his relentless dedication to anything he can solve with software. He has led teams developing a first-generation smartphone, a mission-critical firewall kernel, a video streaming service, and a virtual machine migration platform.

Shai first acquired his leadership and people management skills as a captain in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and received his B.Sc in Computer Science from Netanya Academic College, Israel.
