Alain Buret

Alain Buret has over 25 years of experience in the technology and financial services sectors. Currently serving as the Command Centre Manager at SWIFT since February 2006, Alain is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the SWIFT Ecosystem through effective incident management and communication with stakeholders. Previously, Alain held the position of Senior Customer Engineer at SWIFT, specializing in customer support for key clients and showcasing deep knowledge in SWIFTNet products, software, and hardware. Prior to joining SWIFT, Alain worked at ING from January 1997 to January 2006 as a Middleware Expert, and at Unisys from December 1994 to December 1996 as an A-Series Consultant. Alain's educational background includes studies at the HEPL - Haute Ecole de la Province de Liège, the University of Liège, and the Athênée Royal de Chênée.
