Hussein Karmali

Hussein Karmali has extensive work experience in project management and IT roles. Hussein has worked at SWIFT as the Head of EMEA Project Management and Senior Project Manager, where they led implementation and adoption projects for financial institutions. Hussein also served as a Program Manager, contributing to the company's strategic vision and transformation programs. Prior to their time at SWIFT, Hussein worked at ING Belgium as the Head of Digital Channels, overseeing feature delivery for various banking channels. Hussein also has experience at MLOZ IT, where they served as the Head of IT Delivery and Team Manager, responsible for delivering ICT operations and development services. Hussein started their career as a Mathematics Professor at Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles before transitioning to an Information Technology Professor role. Overall, Hussein Karmali has a strong background in project management, IT delivery, and leadership.

Hussein Karmali completed a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management from Université catholique de Louvain from 1996 to 2001. Hussein also earned a Master's degree in Information Systems from the same institution from 2001 to 2002.
