John P Sioui

John P Sioui is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in governance, risk management, and compliance. Currently serving in the Information Security Governance role at Swift since September 2017, John has successfully revamped the Security Exception process and established security metrics and standards. Previous roles include Senior Information Security Analyst at CBC/Radio-Canada and IT Security Consultant, as well as significant positions at IBM, where John contributed to the development of new service offerings and managed security implementations for various clients. Earlier experience at Scotiabank encompassed technical leadership in distributed computing systems and project management for security controls. John holds a background in Marketing and Business Administration from George Brown College and has also attended St. Lawrence CEGEP and Detroit Catholic Central College Prepatory.
