Kristina Guilmain

Kristina Guilmain has worked in the fashion industry since 1985. Kristina began their career as a Head Designer at A H Schreiber Co., where they established successful Mid-Tier junior swim lines, supervised the selection and development of prints, fabrications, silhouettes and trims, and built private label partnerships. In 2010, they worked as a Consultant for Legends Swimwear, where they merchandised and designed missy control garment swimwear lines, purchased prints and sourced trims, supervised cad artists, pattern makers, sample hands and fittings, and attended plus sized private label corporate headquarter fittings. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Sales and Operational Manager at Macro USA a division of Tefron, where they merchandised and marketed missy and plus private label swimwear for several retailers, and launched Aquabelle aquatic fitness with Swimsuits For All. During this same time period, they also held the role of Design Director at Swimsuits For All, where they led the creative team to develop unique ladies swimwear products, analyzed trends, created new body silhouettes, selected original artwork, and supervised print and product development. Lastly, from 2013 to present, they have worked as a Private Label Consultant for Gottex Swimwear Brands, where they have handled all aspects of private label accounts, from merchandising and marketing to production liaison, directed the design studio, and met with customers to develop exciting and salable swimwear.

Kristina Guilmain attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a BFA in Fashion Design.
