Georgie Kelly

Georgie Kelly is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as the Dean of Graduate Research at Swinburne University of Technology since December 2020. With a strong background in materials science, Georgie has held various leadership roles at Deakin University from June 2007 to December 2020, including Director of the Graduate Research Academy and Manager of Research Partnerships. Additionally, Georgie has been a Committee Member at Impact100Melbourne since January 2015. Early in the career, Georgie contributed to the Institute for Frontier Materials at Deakin University as a Research Engineer and Postdoctoral Researcher from April 1999 to June 2007. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Materials Science, a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science, all obtained from Monash University between 1987 and 1998.
