Saeid Nahavandi, FTSE, FIEEE, FIEAust, currently serves as the Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and Chief of Defence Innovation at Swinburne University of Technology since May 2023. Nahavandi is also actively involved with the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences & Engineering as Co-Chair and Deputy Chair of the Industry and Innovation Forum since September 2020. With extensive experience in the IEEE organization since 2007, Nahavandi has held several significant roles, including Vice-President of Human-Machine Systems and various editorial positions.
