Barrett Eller, SPHR, CSP has been an experienced professional in the Human Resources and Safety field for over seven years. In 2022, they began their current role as Director of Sales at SwineTech, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as Human Resources and Safety Manager at New Fashion Pork, Inc. from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they directed Human Resources and Safety operations, supervised a Talent Development Specialist, Organizational Development Specialist, and Worker's Compensation Coordinator, and provided guidance and direction to the Chief Executive Officer/Owner and senior leadership on performance management, talent management, labor relations, safety, succession planning, and continuous improvement. Prior to this, they worked as Safety & Loss Control Manager at New Fashion Pork, Inc. from 2015 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for safety, regulatory compliance, and facility loss control, with authority over a Worker's Compensation Coordinator. Barrett also served on the National Pork Board's Workplace Safety Committee, and established a Behavior-Based Safety Program that led to a 40% reduction in Worker's Compensation claims in one calendar year, as well as a 24% drop in incidents.

Barrett Eller, SPHR, CSP has an extensive education history. Barrett holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Columbia Southern University and an Associate's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician from the same institution. In 2007-2008, they attended Des Moines Area Community College and studied Statistics. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from various institutions, including Level II Thermographer from FLIR Systems (2021), Defensive Driver Instructor from the National Safety Council (2016), CPR/First Aid Instructor from the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council (2015), Forklift Train-the-Trainer from the Minnesota Safety Council, Inc.
