Thomas Murphy

Thomas Murphy has over 35 years of experience in finance and leadership roles. Thomas began their career in 1986 as a Senior Finance Manager at KPMG. In 1994, they joined The Walt Disney Company as Finance Director of Walt Disney World Operations Planning and Reporting, where they managed a $6 billion division and provided strategic direction and leadership to 5 direct reports and a 130-person planning department. In 2000, they moved to ESPN as Vice President of International and Digital Subsidiary Finance and Planning, leading a 15-person team that provided financial analysis and planning for distribution agreement negotiations, business development initiatives, and financial performance of subsidiaries. In 2021, they were appointed Chief Financial Officer of SwingU, the leading golf and technology media Company, where they are responsible for overseeing the financial operations and working closely with the CEO in the overall strategy and growth of SwingU, including particular focus on International market opportunities.

Thomas Murphy attended Drexel University from 1981 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Thomas then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Management at Purdue University Krannert School of Management, which they completed in 1999. Thomas also attended Cardinal O'Hara, though no additional information is provided.
