Sef Baydurcan has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as the Vice President of Engineering at SWIPEBY, a turnkey curbside pickup platform for restaurants and merchants. From 2019-2021, they were the Chief Technology Officer at KO software LLC, specializing in building Time and Expense Sheet applications for college work study programs and small businesses. From 2018-2019, they were the Vice President of Technology at DataMotion, Inc., a rapidly growing cyber-security company. From 2006-2018, they were the Vice President of Engineering at Rsam, a SaaS software company. From 2003-2006, they were the Director of Software Development at kDevice, a software company that created restaurant management software and POS terminals. From 1998-2003, they were the Manager of Software Development at Synavant, a pharmaceutical management and customer relationship management solutions provider. From 1997-1998, they were the Project Leader at Magic Solutions Software, a software company that specialized in help desk automation and asset management. From 1996-1997, they were the Senior Software Engineer at Computron Software, a company that develops Enterprise Financials, an accounting software application suite. Finally, from 1995-1996, they were the Lead Software Engineer at CDP Inc., a software company that provided municipalities a parking and ticketing system.

Sef Baydurcan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology between 1990 and 1994. Sef then went on to obtain a Master of Engineering in Computer and Information Engineering from the same institution between 1994 and 1995.
