Michael Bailey

Michael Bailey has extensive experience in the shipping industry, currently serving as General Manager of Trades at Swire Shipping since September 2010, after holding the position of Line Manager. Prior to this role, Michael worked as Line Manager at Tasman Orient Line and Swire Shipping from December 2007 to August 2010, and as Owners Representative at Tasman Orient Line from August 2006 to December 2007. Michael's career in the industry began at Fesco New Zealand as Line Director from July 1998 to August 2006, followed by a position as Regional Manager and South Island Sales Manager at Geo. H. Scales Limited between 1986 and 1998. Michael is an alumnus of Xavier College Christchurch.
