Christina Heidt

Senior Data Scientist at Swish Analytics

Christina Heidt has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Christina began their career as a Graduate Student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where they worked on the development of magnetic nanoparticle materials and the investigation of their low temperature magnetic properties. Christina then moved on to the University of California, Riverside as a Graduate Student Researcher in Accelerator Physics, where they worked on the International Muon Ionization Cooling Experiment at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in the UK. In 2018, they began working at Swish Analytics as a Data Scientist, and was later promoted to Senior Data Scientist. That same year, they also became a Fellow at Insight Data Science, where they worked with the city of San Diego developing a data-driven model to increase the efficiency of first responder deployment during medical emergencies.

Christina Heidt obtained their PhD in Physics from the University of California, Riverside in 2017. Christina also attended Imperial College London from 2013-2016, studying Physics without obtaining a degree. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2009.
