John Sussingham has a diverse work experience. John started their career in 2011 as the Vice President and Captain of the College of Charleston Men's Rugby Club, where they were responsible for organizing games, field times, referees, fundraising, recruiting new talent, managing and motivating players during practice and game. In 2014, they became a Mathematical Consultant for the United States Olympic Committee, where they conducted research for Dr. Peter Vint and Dr. Amy Langville in the analysis of Olympic sports. John also worked as a Sports Data Scientist for Davidson College in 2014, conducting research for Dr. Tim Chartier and Dr. Amy Langville in the areas of Forecasting and Risk Mitigation. In 2015, they joined Sportsnexa as a Data Scientist, Sports Statistician, and Business Development. John then moved to Swish Analytics in 2016, where they are currently working as a Data Engineer.
John Sussingham graduated from College of Charleston in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics. Prior to that, they attended Fordham Prep from 2007 to 2011.
