Marisa M. Brighton

Senior Director Strategic Engagement & Community Impact at Swisher

Marisa M. Brighton has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Marisa M. began their career as a Junior Fellow at the Library of Congress in 2009. Marisa M. then served as a World Movement for Democracy Intern at the National Endowment for Democracy in 2010. Subsequently, they worked as a Public Specialist in Trade and Markets at the FAO in 2010 and again in 2011. In 2011, they also interned at the OSCE in the Education Institutions and Legislation Section. Marisa joined Ernst & Young in 2012, starting as a Staff/Assistant in Advisory Services and later progressing to the position of Senior, Advisory Services. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at North Highland, first as a Senior Consultant and then as a Manager. Following this, they joined Slalom in 2018 and served as a Business Advisory Consultant until 2021. Most recently, Marisa joined Swisher in 2021 as the Director of Organizational Effectiveness and later assumed the role of Senior Director of Strategic Engagement & Community Impact in March 2022.

Marisa M. Brighton attended Georgetown Visitation from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained their high school degree. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at Colorado College, studying International Political Economy from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, they pursued their Master's degree in International Relations at St. John's University from 2010 to 2012.
