Niels Jansen

Niels Jansen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Niels started their career as an intern at Medtronic, where they analyzed the process of reverse logistics. After that, they worked at PwC Consulting as an Analyst and then as an Advisor. At Rabobank International, they served as a Medior Risk Manager, where they were involved in market risk methodologies, credit counterparty risk exposure methodologies, and regulatory and economic capital calculations. Following that, they joined Novum Bank Group as the Head of Business Intelligence, responsible for fact/data-driven decision making and forecasting future profits. Niels then worked at Creative Clicks as a Business Intelligence professional. Currently, Niels is associated with Swishfund, where they hold roles as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Science Officer.

Niels Jansen began their education at Maastricht University in 2000, completing a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Operations Research in 2007. Niels then pursued further studies at the same institution, earning a Master's degree in the same field from 2007 to 2008.
