Othmar Hug

Othmar Hug has a diverse work experience that spans over several organizations and roles. Othmar served as the CEO and Deputy CEO at Swiss Climate - Sustainable Business, with additional experience as the Interim CEO and Head of Marketing & Development within the same organization. Othmar also worked at YFU Switzerland as a Member of the Board, responsible for the Finance Committee. Othmar was a Program Manager at UEFA during the UEFA EURO 2008 event. Furthermore, Othmar held positions as a Scientific Assistant at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and as an Intern at the Swiss Embassy in Thailand.

Othmar Hug completed an Executive MBA in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2016 to 2017. Othmar also obtained a Master's degree in International Relations from the Geneva Graduate Institute between 2002 and 2006. In 2009, they earned a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Geneva. Additionally, Othmar Hug participated in a high school exchange program with YFU at Colegio Normal in Posadas, Argentina, during the academic year 1998-1999.
