Roman Stein

Roman Stein currently serves as the CEO of Swiss Life Switzerland since January 2017, having also held positions as CFO and interim CEO. Stein leads the finance function for the country's top provider of life and pensions solutions. Additionally, since May 2023, Stein has been the Chief IT Officer ad interim at Verein IFZ - Institut für Finanzdienstleistungen Zug and holds the position of Vice President at Palladio Versicherungen AG until November 2024. Previous roles include CFO at CSS Versicherung and various senior finance positions at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd., where responsibilities included global finance transformation and group performance management. Roman Stein holds an Executive Master in Controlling from IFZ and an MSc in Physics from ETH Zürich.
